Olds College Awards Philosophy The Olds College Awards philosophy is to make awards available to the greatest number of learners within the requirements and conditions of the award. Awards are granted at the discretion of the designated selection committee. All decisions made by the selection committees are final and may not be appealed. Right to Make Changes The College reserves the right to make any changes that circumstances dictate including the cancellation of particular awards. Instructions 1. Information that is found to be inaccurate or incomplete will make your application null and void. Students are responsible to ensure accuracy of information. Checks will be performed and anyone with incorrect information will lose the opportunity to be considered for any award. 2. You will need your Social Insurance Number, and Student Identification Number to complete the application. Use of Personal Information The personal information that you provide on this application form is being collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy legislation of the Government of the Province of Alberta for the purpose of determining eligibility for Scholarships and Bursaries at Olds College. The name, hometown, and academic program of award winners will be published in the awards ceremony program which is a public event. I authorize the Student Awards Administrator to access my academic and financial records. In the event of receiving an award, I authorize the Student Awards Administrator to, as and when necessary, release information to the donor, Students Finance, any sponsoring agency, and to publish information in the annual awards program. I also understand that awards are taxable and that a T4A will be issued accordingly.
